Founder's Story

For many years, my life ran on two parallel tracks. One was my passion for food—cooking, feeding people, and understanding what truly makes a dining experience work. The other was my career as a technologist. I started as a developer, moved into large-scale systems and leadership, and spent years building mission-critical technology across telecom, healthcare, fintech, and robotics—worlds where reliability and consistency are engineered with care.

When I decided to run a restaurant myself, those two worlds collided. I experienced firsthand the daily realities of a commercial kitchen: dependence on labor, inconsistency, constant firefighting, and margins so thin that even small inefficiencies hurt. Sitting inside this contradiction made something obvious—kitchens weren't broken because of people or food, but because they lacked engineered consistency.

Rasoi Robotics was born from that realization. Not from a presentation or an abstract idea, but from living both lives at once. Kitchens don't fail because they need more software dashboards; they struggle because highly skilled people spend their time doing the same physically demanding tasks repeatedly. Drawing from my work in robotics, I began designing focused machines—each built to take ownership of one hard, repetitive problem and do it reliably, every single time.

Rasoi Robotics is about restoring predictability to kitchens and confidence to operators. When machines handle the tiring, thankless work well, people are free to do what they do best—apply judgment, creativity, and care, and build better businesses.
